This album is a remixed, remastered and partially rerecorded collection from three early Gateless Gate EPs:
- Germania, which is a tribute to 1970s Krautrock and German electronic music that pays specific homage to Popul Vuh, Kraftwerk, Ashra, Edgar Froese, and Klaus Schulze. The lyrics to "Auf Wanderung" are a poem by Hermann Hesse. (tracks 1-5)
- Myrrh, the final two tracks of which are combined here as the "Myrrh Suite," a Pink Floyd-influenced ambient/psych epic. (track 6)
-All Is One, which I am deleting because I have taken the title song over to my Twilight Fields project; these three concluding instrumental tracks are at the post-rock end of the ambient music spectrum. (tracks 7-9)
This album features some of my most affecting music, presented with a new sonic shine that makes for a more satisfying and absorbing listening experience.
