Ray Angry - One (2018)

In the midst of his near three decade career, Ray Angry has finally recorded his long-awaited first album as a leader. Simply titled Ray Angry One, the instrumental nine-song LP is a meditation on the concept of higher love—the love it will take to unite people in these divisive times. Ray Angry One was recorded in March 2017 with a world class quintet featuring Ambrose Akinmusire on trumpet, Derrick Hodge on bass, Eric Harland on drums, and Myron Walden on various horns.
