The title track of this retrospective of Bobby Womack's three-year tenure with MCA Records should be taken both literally (the album is, on some level, a testament to his artistic longevity) and with a grain of salt (two of the songs, done with Jazz Crusader Wilton Felder, predate Womack's MCA stint by almost five years). In any case, the album is a terrific showcase for Womack's formidable talents. Highlights include a funky remake of the British hit "Living in a Box," (originally by the group of the same name) and a gorgeous gospel-ish version of "That's Where It's At," (originally done by Womack's mentor Sam Cooke).
