Corey Stevens pays tribute to Albert King, the blues guitarist that influenced blues power to greats such as Stevie Ray Vaughan and Gary Moore. It has been said that King only played about six riffs - but they were the ones that counted. Stevens rips it up with the blues power guitar but also adds something that truly defined King - humor. Albertville is a fun romp thru memory lane, but ignores the huge hits like Born Under a Bad Sign and, instead, harvests King's "deep cut" gems. Drummer Steve Ferrone, from Clapton and Petty fame, gives a seminar on how to play blues and R&B.
