Black Box Revelation - Tattooed Smiles (2018)

Black Box Revelation is a band influenced by American Blues, British Pop Invasion, and it's Psychedelic Rock offspring.

Combining '60s British Invasion pop with scuzzy garage blues-rock, Belgian duo the Black Box Revelation, aka vocalist/guitarist Jan Paternoster and drummer Dries Van Dijck, began jamming while at school, and after finishing runner-up at the 2006 Humo's Rock Rally contest, gained support slots on European tours with Iggy Pop, dEUS, and the Raveonettes. Produced by Triggerfinger drummer Mario Goossens, 2007 debut album Set Your Head on Fire and 2010 follow-up Silver Threats established them as one of the country's most engaging live acts. After opening for Beady Eye and Jane's Addiction in the U.S., they released My Perception in 2011. ~ Jon O'Brien
