Nefertiti Quartet - Morse Code (2018)

Recorded in May 2018 at La Buissonne Studio, this second album announces the return of the quartet after two years of touring France and Europe. Behind the concept of walrus, of course, is the group's affection for rhythm and polyrhythm. Fed by various influences ranging from Lennie Tristano to Ben Wendel's "Kneebody", the compositions are once again an opportunity for the quartet to express all its virtuosity when writing is free of all constraints.
