Nick Metcalf - Noel (2018)

This Christmas Album has been a dream of mine for many years, and I am so happy that it is finally come to life. I have partnered with some great talent on this album, including the very talented Siobhan Owen who sings on three separate tracks, The hauntingly beautiful voice of Ellie Coronado, The Great Irish Fiddling of Tom White, and the beautiful violin of Rudy Alvarez. My father Rick Metcalf also plays electric guitar and Bass on "The King is Coming," and my daughters Bela and Meghan show up on a couple of tracks, as well as some great Background Vocals by Edrey Oliveira.

This album is about half vocal music and half instrumental music. It has a bit of a melancholy yet hopeful mood to the album, and features many soft haunting instrumentals on whistles and uilleann pipes. The songs share the message of Love through the incarnation of Jesus as a child which is the reason we celebrate His birth each year.
