The only album of the group “Blast Furnace” from Copenhagen, created by three Danish friends and an Englishman Tom McEwan. One of the most memorable albums of the Danish progressive rock of the 70s. Unfortunately, the group was prepared for a short existence. Like many other Danish performers, there are allusions to “Deep Purple”, “Procol Harum” and other popular British groups of that time in the music of “Blast Furnace”, however the group manages to create its own unique sound based on borrowing elements of the sound of other performers. After the collapse of the group in 1972, three of the members joined the cult Danish group “Culpeper’s Orchard”.
