Dom Salvador - The Dom Salvador Samba Jazz Big Band (2026) [Hi-Res]

Dom Salvador Samba Jazz Big Band — a self-released project by Brazilian pianist and composer Dom Salvador, scheduled for release on October 22, 2026. The album is distributed through Tratore and features material from the musician’s archival catalog, including compositions first featured on albums such as Som, Sangue e Raça and Rio Claro Suíte. Although the title suggests a big-band format, the official materials have not yet named the participating musicians or provided specific recording details. Producers Rafael Rocha and Laura Dreyer led the project, realizing Salvador’s long-held ambition to lead his own big band. The work connects the musician’s early experience in dance orchestras with his extensive experience as an ensemble leader.
