Nadège Rochat is a Swiss cellist. She studied cello from age 4 and was taught first by her aunt, Fabienne Dambrini, then later by Jakob Clasen. In 2001 at age 10, Rochat became the youngest finalist of the international competition, Jeunes artistes. She joined the pre-professional classes taught by Daniel Heafliger at the Geneva Conservatory. Between 2003 and 2009, she entered several cello competitions, winning the first prizes of the Vatelot-Rampal, the Concours des Jeunesses Musicale Suisse, and the German competition, Jugend musiziert, as well as the Prix du Crédit Suisse. She studied with Maria Kliegel at the High School for Music, Cologne, and won a scholarship from the Carl Dörken Foundation. Her debut recording in 2012 on Ars Produktion featured concertos by Lalo and Milhaud.
