Folkstone - Discography (2008-2017)

The idea of Folkstone was born from Lorenzo, Ferro and Forese, who wanted to bring back to life ancient melodies and put them in a metal environment. At the beginning Lorenzo and his tumbler friend Teo started to play Baghèt, the typical Bergamo’s bagpipe, and after a few months opted for the medieval bagpipe. Folkstone find their inspiration in bands like Corvus Corax and Schelmish.

Folkstone often performs in an entirely acoustic and instrumental line-up, mainly playing medieval or ancient folk songs along with fire-eaters and dancers
