The Platanotes - Platanormal Activity (2016)

The Platanotes invites the listener to a modern musical journey, with the clear intention of breaking the stylistic boundaries, adopting rhythms and sonorities typical of soul, funk, disco, rock and complementing it with harmonies of blues, jazz and other tonal and modal music.
Currently the line up is a quintet: drums, bass, guitar, sax and keyboards and takes you to a whole load of unstoppable energy, passing through the sweet sounds of Motown, to the evocational improvisations of 70’s jazz/funk/rock, resolving in the first studio album of the band: Platanormal Activity
