Marco Antonio da Costa - Jatobá Bigband (2019)

In his first album as a bandleader, Marco Antonio da Costa records and presents the Jatobá Big Band orchestra and provides a musical experience that interweaves classic jazz big band with the unmistakable identity of brazilian music. The music in this album carries the listener away to feel intense and vivid arrangements and improvised solos which the players rise the sounds of their instruments until the limit. Jatoba Big Band is a jazz orchestra formed by 20 musicians with a brazilian rhythm section and an international horn section based in Austria. The Orchestra was founded in 2012 and releases its first album in 2018/2019. Special guests are: Carlos Malta, Fagner Wesley and Daniela Procopio.
