In the glorious city of London, four friends studied in one of the schools. They were brought together by a common love of music and a very tolerable possession of various instruments. It is quite natural that they soon had an original idea to create a group. As Paul Kent first expressed it, they decided to call the group “P.C. Kent. Friends began to actively perform at various school events and after a while turned into very skilled musicians. At that time blessed with music, little miracles often happened! It happened to our friends, because soon they were noticed by the producer Sandy Robertson, who worked at RCA Limited Record. In 1970, a contract was concluded with them, and the group began working in the studio. In the same year, a very interesting album “Upstairs Coming Down” was recorded and published. All the material was composed by the musicians themselves, who were clearly influenced by The White Album by The Beatles. Therefore, many style directions of that time were intertwined on it. In addition, Paul Kent had a very strong and versatile voice. But since the audience at that time was overfed with excellent music, the album did not make much of an impression and the band broke up. Paul Kent in 1971 released a self-titled album on the B & C Label, which was distributed in Holland and other European countries. He currently lives in Buckinghamshire and is engaged in activities not related to music. Gavin Watson took up photography and album artwork for various groups. John Ward became a session musician. David Richards also played with a huge number of performers as a session musician.
