Con Funk Shun - Loveshine & Candy (2010)

Digitally remastered two-fer from the Funk legends containing a pair of their original albums appearing for the first time on CD: Loveshine (1978) and Candy (1979). These two albums contain the singles 'So Easy', 'Shake & Dance With Me', 'Chase Me' and 'Let Me Put Love On Your Mind'. Formed by high school classmates Michael Cooper and Louis McCall in 1969 Con Funk Shun had a real purple patch during the late '70s and early '80s, releasing 13 albums total. Both Loveshine and Candy were co-produced by Skip Scarborough, who also produced tracks for Earth Wind & Fire, LTD and Blue Magic amongst others.
