Alessio Menconi and Nigel Price - Duo (2026) [Hi-Res]

British jazz guitarist Nigel Price and Italian guitarist Alessio Menconi joined forces in late 2025 to record a collaborative jazz guitar duo album. Tracked by engineer James Welch at Masterlink Studios and complemented by live fragments from a show at London’s The Bull’s Head, the project was originally conceived as an acoustic session but developed a vintage electric character after incorporating 1963 Fender Bassman amplifiers. Performing on Fibonacci instruments, the pair dedicated the repertoire to the legacy of bebop and modal jazz icons Wes Montgomery, Pat Martino, and Emily Remler.
