Strong sounds, spontaneous decisions in their music, every song is a little journey. The
destination is clear: music in the Center; trio music. With elements reaching from modern
classical music to indie-rock they are approaching the art form of jazz from ever new
perspectives and are expanding the tried and tested format of a piano trio. Their songs
mysteriously go straight to the heart of the listener before carrying on to the brain. They are
unwieldy, jerky, poetic and denitely not arbitrary. This is why the band was runner-up in the
Neuer Deutscher Jazzpreis (New German Jazz Award), winner of the Jazzpodium-Preis,
and others. Center - straight into the middle - Bullseye.
