Sometimes it can be simple: Nele, Jacques and Dave are PEUK. Each of them separately does a lot of things (maybe Evil Superstars, Millionaire or Heisa tell you something?), But together they guarantee pissed-around sludge pop with a solid Riot Grrrl at the head.

Name and fame were acquired with a year of thrilling performances and an EP sold out at record speed, now the untitled debut album on Fons Records (release January 28) follows. Hardly one day on a tape, rough and unpainted like all the best rock 'n' roll. Think of an early Cat Power that the Sonic Youth amps may borrow and decide not to give them back.
