Sofia Talvik is a stunning Swedish singer who has just released her 4th album. She started to release an album herself in 2005 called "Blue Moon". Then she decided to work a bit more professionally with the album "Street Of Dreams" where she sang together with Bernard Butler (guitarist of Suede). Her 3rd album "Jonestown" was released in 2008 and since then I have started to follow Sofia with her work.

But now we are talking about her last released album "Florida". Sofia is a talented singer-songwriter who proves with this album that this genre is still worth it. King Of The Willow Tree is the first track on the album and has a very catchy guitar playing in the background. Such a melody that you will not soon forget. Sofia's high but pure notes come rushing here in abundance and quickly take you to dreamland.

I personally think Florida is the least good track of the eponymous album. Tried a bit too much, that's how it comes about. But with the next track As We Catch On Fire we are in the mood again, just like the first track of the album. Tell me you really need me sings the wonderful Sofia on this track and that makes the message very clear. A beautiful love song that will bring peace to many in this busy world.

More Than I Should Have brings some variation to the album and I like it and I think everyone will like it when you hear Sofia's warmth in her voice on this track with many instruments. Paper House is my personal favorite, I feel great every time I listen to it again. The Swedish lady explains her feelings openly and openly on the table.

You Bring Me Back starts with a country guitar game and continues until the end of the track. Even Sofia's voice sounds different when she sings some country. Can you imagine it? A Swedish singer-songwriter who sings Country on an album called Florida? Bold and successful.
