Bryte - Too Good for Your Liking (2018)

Bryte’s “Too Good For Your Liking” is the debut album from one of Ghana’s most exciting vocalists; due for release on September 20th 2018.

Ranging from 95 - 150 bpm and featuring a blend of afrobeats, uk funky, rap and percussive club sounds, the album showcases Bryte’s musical diversity and lyrical ability, with his unique flow combining themes of hard work, love and life in Accra utilising surreal imagery and intricate wordplay.

Following on from the momentum of More Time Records’ first year, in which their releases gained the support of Benji B, Objekt, Skream & many more - they embark on their most ambitious project to date; a 9 track debut album from rising star, Bryte.

A full length release from Bryte has been long overdue with his word-of-mouth cult classic “I Like Your Girlfriend” (in collaboration with Gafacci) being surrounded by so much curiosity and intrigue until it was finally released on Ransom Note almost five years after it was created.

“Too Good For Your Liking” features a roster of forward thinking producers from around the world, including Say3, Gafacci, The Busy Twist, Tarquin, TSVI, DJ Polo, Max Le Daron and Mina. Mina played a big part in the creation of this album, arranging and engineering countless studio sessions in Accra earlier on this year.

“Too Good For Your Liking” is Bryte’s statement of intent; a powerful and irresistible record that will be a fixture across dance-floors and firmly cement his position as one of the most promising and unique vocalists alive right now.
