Pur - Opus 1 (Reissue) (1981/1990)

Pur is a German pop group from Bietigheim-Bissingen. The group was originally founded in 1975 under the name Crusade by Roland Bless and Ingo Raidl. Their first release came out under the name "Opus", but after an Austrian band of the same name had a huge hit single in 1985 in Germany, they changed the band's name to Pur. Pur's first hit in Germany was the single "Lena", released in 1990. In the 1990s and 2000s, they had a series of albums that took first place on the German chart. The producer of Pur is Dieter Falk. ThyssenKrupp’s ad uses a song called “Abenteuerland” with the slogan “Developing the Future”.
