Born in San Diego, saxophonist BRIAN LEVY is one of the most virtuoso saxophonists of his generation, and his emotional, mature expression captivates audiences worldwide. Levy teaches jazz saxophone and improvisation at the prestigious New England Conservatory in Boston.

Born in 1992 in Kempten, Bavaria guitarist PAUL BRÄNDLE is traded as a promising young talent. The graduate of the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich understands without any showmanship to gradually draw the listener into his spell, standing with the claim behind every single note.

The powerful pulse of bassist WILL WOODARD catapults the Rick Hollander Quartet into new breathtaking spheres. He has been an integral part of New York's jazz scene for decades, working with some of the best jazz musicians there. His keen mind, as a graduate of Yale University, is present in each of his bass lines with which he shapes the most diverse musical situations.

Drummer RICK HOLLANDER is from Detroit and was born in 1956. Influenced by the musical and social upheavals of the 1960s and 70s, he now distinguishes himself as a bandleader through his sensitive accompaniment and strong musical imagination. His career included working with jazz greats such as James Moody, Brad Mehldau and Roy Hargrove.
