James Monroe - Truth Be Known (2018)

This album, Truth Be Known, was inspired by the songwriter's intention to compose songs that delivered commentary on social/human conditions, supported by strong blues/ rock percussive rhythms and diverse vocal/ instrumental arrangements. The songs are rich with electric guitar solo leads, slide guitar, lap steel/ dobro, acoustic guitar, strongly skillful harmonica, piano and organ parts throughout. It was also considered essential that the clarity of the lyrics be preserved in all the songs, delivered through strong lead and multi-part background vocals for effective delivery of the intended messages of the lyrical content, while sustaining emotion and drive. It is hoped that this will also be the experience of the listeners of Truth Be Known!
