Lispector is the alias of Julie Margat. She's playing, recording and releasing music since 1996, alone behind her synthesizers ans sequencers. From New York City to Brighton where she used to live for 15 years, she recorded and released hundreds of awesome cute songs which have been released as albums ('Guide To Personal Happiness') as split record (with Petit Fantôme) or as compilations (curated by Andy Votel from Finders Keepers). This album will remind you of the first listenings to Beat Happening, it's full of these sounds from a teenage era or when you understood, by listening to Lee Hazlewood songs, that writing and melodic qualities could be so astonishing. Since she's been very productive with people as Stereolab or White Horses, her music is well known in the UK indie scene, so many zines and dedicated website were eagerly awaiting this album.
