Gaye Tolan Hatfield - Yesterday Once More: A Tribute to the Music of the Carpenters (2014)

Gaye Tolan Hatfield is a graduate of Berklee College of Music and has over 25 years experience teaching both at the college and online. She is course author for Ear Training 2, a Berklee Online course.

Gaye is the author of “Berklee Ear Training Duets and Trios”, a book published by Berklee Press.

Her work as a professional musician includes writing, arranging, and performing as a vocalist, flutist and saxophonist.

She has assisted in orchestrations for the Boston Pops, and in the summer of 2013, wrote a choral arrangement that was performed at the Pops 4th of July concert.

Hatfield’s compositions can be heard on a variety of television shows, including Navy NCIS, History Detective, The Young and the Restless, Revenge, NUMBER3, C.S.I. NY, Good Wife, and United States of Tara, in addition to the films, Dear John and What To Expect When You’re Expecting

Gaye has earned 6 Daytime Emmy award nominations for her work as a member of the composing team for 'The Young and the Restless' on CBS.

In 2022, Gaye was awarded a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Original Song "Grateful For It All", a co-write with Brad Hatfield and Jeff Meeghan.

She is currently the music director for The Vero Beach Saxophone Quartet, and plays in the 2nd Street Jazz Band
