Kat Edmonson - Have Your Merry Christmas With Me (2026)

November 6, 2026, Kat releases her seventh studio album, Have Your Merry Christmas With Me, a lush, witty, and deeply romantic holiday record that unfolds like the soundtrack to a classic Christmas romantic comedy. As composer and arranger, Kat conceived the album’s musical world from the ground up, bringing her singular perspective to beloved standards while contributing two original songs, including the title track and the dreamlike “Hush! There’s a Falling Snow.” Sensual bossa nova, swinging jazz and gospel, tropical ’60s cocktail-party sounds, and classic pop orchestration mingle throughout the record, alongside an achingly soulful reinvention of Allen Toussaint’s “It’s Raining” as “It’s Snowing.” The result is at once nostalgic and distinctly personal—a cinematic Christmas world shaped by Kat’s lifelong love of songwriting, jazz, classic Hollywood, and the Great American Songbook.
