Swing á la Django - Swing Á La Django (2026)

The Hungarian ensemble Swing à la Django plays what the musicians themselves call “django pop”: gypsy swing in the spirit of Django Reinhardt, fused with bossa nova, Hungarian folk, French chanson, and jazz. The group’s improvisations bridge the elegance of the 1930s–40s and the energy of today. Having performed at venues as different as London’s Royal Albert Hall and the Montreux festival, the band now brings its program “Vivaldi’s Four Seasons – The Crossover Concert” to Weill Recital Hall, reimagining the famous Baroque cycle in a jazz-swing idiom. Guest artists Bradley Jaden and Nikolas Takacs join the performance.
