Das Album exponiert aber auch das Profil der Jenaer Philharmonie: ein überraschend jung gebliebenes und experimentierfreudiges Orchester, unter Leitung seines GMD Simon Gaudenz. Mit zwei Weltklasse-Solisten Juliana Koch, ARD-Preisträgerin und Solo-Oboistin des London Symphony Orchestra mit ihrem Chefdirigenten Simon Rattle, und Wu Wei, der weltweit als führender Virtuose auf der chinesischen Sheng gilt.
