IKS Big Band - Bruder's große Reise (2019)

The IKS Big Band is making a very personal journey with the CD "Brother's Great Journey". Saxophonist Stephan Völker tells through his compositions from the life with his deceased brother - charming and always touching. The fact that the musicians from the IKS-Talentschmiede interpret his work closes the circle for the Rüsselsheimer. Jens Hunstein, congenial arranger and close friend of the composer, took over the direction of bandleader Horst Aussenhof for the duration of the project and put his heart into the project. "Stephan's pieces are in the best sense simple," says Hunstein, who used the space to fill her with mood.
