Fernando Raín - Fainu (2019) Hi Res

Fernando Raín Aqueveque is a jazz and fusions guitarist, who has incorporated a series of elements and aspects of Latin American music into the pure matrix of jazz and its transformations in modern times. Originally from Colonel, it is another name of the significant gestation of jazz musicians from Biobío. With studies at the Modern School of Music, he has been mainly sideman, along with singers Bernardita Fiorentino, Nicole Bunout, Daniela Vivar, Andrea Gutiérrez, bassist Juan Villarroel or bassist Matías Martinoli. In addition, at the end of the '10s, he led a diverse contemporary jazz trio, first with Pablo Vidal (double bass) and Cristóbal Massis (drums), and later with Sebastián González (double bass) and Samuel Álvarez (drums), with whom debuted discographically through the Vertigo label, with Fainu (2019).
