Great album by the spectacularly voiced Thelma Houston of mostly brilliant songs and arrangements by Jimmy Webb. Has stood the test of time. A commercial dud, Sunshower is a Jimmy Webb classic in the tradition of the Fifth Dimension's The Magic Garden and the Richard Harris albums. Jumpin' Jack Flash is a throwaway, but everything else works wonderfully. Included are several peak Webb compositions including Mixed-Up Girl and Pocketful of Keys. He even finds a way to reinvent Didn't We.
