The aptly named Hit Kit, when originally released by Keen in 1959 was a compilation of the singer’s most popular songs and include landmark, timeless recordings of Sam Cooke originals - Only Sixteen, Everybody Loves to Cha Cha Cha and You Send Me as well as standards - Blue Moon and You Were Made For Me.

Cooke was at his commercial peak around this time, many of the singles here becoming million-sellers.
