MATSUOKA Hiroaki - impressioni (2020)

Stefano Guzettei, a composer / pianist from Sardinia, Italy, has fascinated many people with warm touches and beautiful melodies featuring Ludovico Einaudi, Henning Schmiet and Dustin O'Halloran. The latest work is a collaboration with Japanese composer Hiroaki Matsuoka.

The two met on Stefano's third tour to Japan in 2018, and then deepened exchanges and gradually developed into a collaboration. Stefano rearranges / reworks Matsuoka's original song. Twelve songs focusing on lyrical solo piano. Stefano himself mixes and masters, and also does artwork. A post-classical work with a nostalgic feeling like a memory of the distant past.
