“Just say something pretty no matter if it’s true, entre chien et loup.”In the spring of 2015, Leo Sidran flew from New York to Paris to meet his new “French band” – a group of young musicians assembled by his friends Pierre and Max Darmon. He had spent the previous year recording his album “Mucho Leo” on and off in Brooklyn. To him, it was a labor of intense personal love. When Leo Sidran and his new French friends hit the first notes of the first song, they immediately knew that this would work and that they were ready to play music that feels good. Julien Basseres from Studio de Meudon recorded the project beautifully, TSF Jazz broadcasted the original concert live.
