Mr. Wob and The Canes is a Venetian band born to win a bet for which there is very little at stake: write and play new forms of blues in the third millennium. The beginning of their story dates back to December 2012, in a remote inn somewhere in the Venetian country. Right there, they shaped what they refer to as Voodoo Blues, a musical form that blends the most ancient stylistic elements of blues in their very tribal, fiery, and somehow sacred, forms.
