The More Maids are overjoyed to be able to bring their new album "Fourmaids" with them, fresh from the press, to the concert in Rotenburg on February 14. They worked hard for it, refined the old, arranged new, rehearsed and recorded. Now they can be heard on CD for the first time in a four-part formation - and in a few pieces even five, with a guest musician at the Bodhran. Beautiful songs, exposed in several voices, for the first time also pure four-part a-cappella songs - and of course the typical reels and jigs. The "Fourmaids" foundation now forms the bouzouki with the piano on stage and CD alike, and the piano accordion now extends the sound spectrum of flute, whistle, fiddle, button accordion and Uilleann pipes to a new note on CD.
The four women not only did their best musically, the “post-production” phase also required artistic and organizational skills. For example, specifications for the cover design had to be developed and texts written, formal and legal had to be observed and implemented. All in all, it was a piece of work for a small band, whose individual musicians “only” do it part-time. They are all the more proud and happy to be able to present the result to their audience. Be excited!
