Llinas - En Remolinos (2019)

Daniel Reyes Llinas fades the line between written and improvised music that often features elements of his main training as guitarist. He digs into contemporary, classical and post minimalistic aesthetics. His work expand through a colorful array of instruments such as woodwinds, brass, strings, percussion and electronics that often invite to audience to wonder on the source of the sounds that are given to the performers abilities. Through effects these choices and inherent suggestions explore the timbre and instrumental techniques. A distant South American landscape might be a rumor on the rhythmic palette on deconstruction of traditional musical dances. These dances take shape in a progressive intensity inspired in the urbanity and cultural melange of NYC and the serene memory of the Colombian coast.
