Christian Tamburr - The Awakening / Sounds for Sculpture (2020)

Composer and Jazz Vibraphonist Christian Tamburr premiers a body of original music inspired by sculpture of renowned sculptor Seward Johnson. Christian has selected ten sculptures by Seward and created what he calls "Sounds for Sculpture" which are inspired by the imagery and impact of being around these amazing works of art. The project premiered August 16-18, 2019 with six shows at Dizzy's Club Lincoln Center to rave reviews and sold out audiences.
