Diversify says it all! The anticipated new release from prolific composer and keyboard virtuoso Lao Tizer is here. This collection of 14 new Tizer originals is an aural feast! The album features the Lao Tizer Band (Lao Tizer-piano, Christopher Maloney-bass, Drew Megna-drums, Jeff Kollman-guitar, Steve Nieves-sax/percussion/vocals) and guests appearances by Contemporary Jazz guitarist and producer legend Chieli Minucci (Special EFX), violinist Karen Briggs (Yanni, Chaka Khan, Stanley Clarke), percussionist D. Munyungo Jackson (Sting, Stevie Wonder, Kenny Loggins) and saxophonist Andy Suzuki (David Benoit, Michael Franks) among others. This follow-up to Lao’s acclaimed release Golden Soul makes a compelling artistic statement as Lao establishes a new musical stature. This collection of 14 new originals touches on several musical themes, from the passion of Lao’s solo piano compositions to full production, world-flavored band arrangements and a view into the funkier side of the Lao Tizer Band, Diversify has it all! The album was produced by long-time Lao Tizer Band guitarist Jeff Kollman, whose vision helped create this awe-inspiring musical production that will compel listeners to dig deeper with each listening. Diversify is a major step in maturity from this young artist who at the age of 27 demonstrates his veteranship of the industry and illustrates the artistic promise ahead.
