Richard Clapton - Girls On The Avenue (1975/1992)

Girls on the Avenue is the second studio album by Australian musician Richard Clapton, and released in 1975. It includes the singles Girls on the Avenue and Down the Road.
The album peaked at number 33 on the Kent Music Report.
The title track reached number 4 on the Kent Music Report, and was originally released as the B-side of "Travelling Down the Castlereagh". After considerable radio play it was named the A-side.
The album was produced by Richard Batchens who later produced Australian band Sherbet albums.
The album was re-released to CD in 1990. “Travelling Down The Castlereagh” was not included on either the original 1975 LP nor the CD release.
