"Third Eye" formed in 1968 in Durban. The musicians were looking for a keyboard player for a long time and, in order not to lose time, the guitarist Ronnie Selby invited his fourteen-year-old sister Dawn, who studied at the music school in piano, to play the keys at rehearsals. This invitation allowed the group to become a real star. In 1969, the debut album of the group "Awakening ..." was released. Excellent work on the organ of a fourteen-year-old girl and a chic fuzzy guitar became the hallmark of the group.
