Peruvian guitarist and composer Jaime Chirif Watanabe (Jaime Chirif Watanabe) presents the conceptual album "Garabatos," released by Buh Records on cassette and digital formats. The sonic framework of the record is constructed entirely from guitar recordings, capturing performance artifacts such as finger friction, contact noises, and subtle micro-accidents gathered during free improvisation sessions.

Using techniques of sound design, speed alteration, and signal processing, Chirif (Chirif) transforms these raw takes into layered sonic structures. The album is divided into two thematic movements: the first portion focuses on electric guitar (electric guitar) manipulations, while the second centers on acoustic guitar (acoustic guitar) textures. Musically, the pieces unfold as temporal collages that shift perceptions of space. Alongside the audio production, Chirif (Chirif) generated abstract visual sketches that informed the project's aesthetic direction and sleeve art, establishing a dialogue between graphic movement and electroacoustic music (electroacoustic music).
