In the meeting between the traditional Norwegian buck horn and international sources of inspiration, Øiseth and the quartet create her music that rises high across borders and cultural divides. The musical expression is characterized by adventurous, musical insight and dreamy improvisation.

In the spring of 2020 Hildegunn Øiseth Quartet will release their new album Manana, which means thanks to pashto. The title "Mañana" points to several important elements in Øiseth's music and the quartet. Hildegunn Øiseth is a searching musician with his eyes on the future, fearless and curious in the face of the unknown and stranger. In connection with the new record, the band goes on tour, and fortunately they also take the tour to the Varanger Festival.

After music education and regular involvement in the Bohuslän Big Band group in Sweden, she moved to South Africa in the late 90's, where Øiseth was a member of the Uhambo group. Since then, she has continued to draw inspiration in various corners of the world, with several trips to the Middle East and countries such as Malaysia and Pakistan. In the quartet, with some of the finest musicians in the country, she has found a source for her inspiration and musical creativity.
