Jasser Haj Youssef plays viola d’amore, classical violin, composes, directs and performs with numerous artists from all walks of life from Didier Lockwood to Barbara Hendricks or Sister Marie Keyrouz, stars of the opera world and the flamboyant diva Simone Kermes.

With a degree in Music, Musicology and Education, Jasser performs worldwide and recently he directed the Mediterranean Youth Orchestra at the Aix Festival and the Chamber Orchestra of Paris at the Saint-Denis Festival in France.

His latest album Sira is a favorite without borders.

With his jazz quartet, Classic and baroque musicians, he has composed a new score : from baroque virtuoso to timeless contemporary, from classical to world music, inspired by Bach or the Classical Oriental music with an Afro groove.

Poetic, with a plural creation that opens the horizon and liberates song.

"His compositions feature hints of Bach and Coltrane, with a touch of the blues". (Europa Press)
"He is a born musician in the true sense of the term. His international stature cannot be denied". (Midi Libre)
