Baroque trio sonatas and solo harpsichord music by Charles Dieupart (1667-1740).

This new CD by Corina Marti and her ensemble is an intoxicating and vividly played first recording of the music of Charles Dieupart, in the form of the trio sonata with recorder and treble viol. The international ensemble explores this largely unknown late French repertoire in its very distinct style.

The Israeli harpsichordist Yizhar Karshon plays one of the 'six suites' by Dieupart (no.6) in its original edition as a solo suite for harpsichord.
