Danilo Blaiotta - Piano
Jacopo Ferrazza - WBass
Valerio Vantaggio - Drums
For Danilo the concept of the jazz trio draws its inspiration, above all, from the Keith Jarrett Trio as well as the music from the French 1900’s, developed further by the years studied with Aldo Ciccolini; this passion reoccurs often, particularly in some of his original pieces written especially for the trio. Founded in 2017, he created this group with musicians who have a great formation in classical music as well as a profound cultural growth experience. Jacopo Ferrazza on the stand-up bass, with whom he shares classical piano studies and the love for a certain kind of spacial music tied to a multi-style composition. Valerio Vantaggio on the drums, also enraptured by the classic piano repertory, particularly that of Bach. The trio offers compositions that are decidedly jazz but start from a compositional principle that embraces music from the 1900’s.
