"Una Realidad Diferente", Antonio Lizana's fourth studio album, will feature nine new songs with melodic and rhythmic roots in traditional Spanish Flamenco, featuring contemporary production and arrangements taking in everything from Jazz to New Soul. The lyrics express "A Different Reality", on both a musical and personal level, and each song has its own unique feel, be it in terms of the production or the compositions themselves. The album is a collection of stories told with music.Title: Una realidad diferente

An example is "El Pez" (The Fish), which immerses us in the depth of the ocean through a soundscape full of aquatic textures, where each instrument seems to tell a part of the story. "Mambé" takes us on a journey through an ancestral Amazonian ritual. And "Mora" tells the story of a romance between a Christian man and a Muslim woman during the Dark Ages.
Other songs are more existential, such as "Soy Testigo", "Vida Pasajera", or "Una Realidad Diferente", which features a magnificent string arrangement. These tracks focus on the search for personal authenticity and the need to convey a positive and optimistic message to people, one that transcends both background and context. "Me Cambiaron Los Tiempos" is set to a flamenco 'seguiriya' rhythm and is one of the most sophisticated arrangements on the whole album, with touches of progressive jazz and even a hint of trance.
Another undeniable gem is a collaboration with American singer-songwriter Becca Stevens titled "Carry you". The freshness of Stevens' vocals provides the perfect contrast to the rich textures in Lizana’s singing. The album continues to surprise with the flamenco-driven "Garrotín", which tells a warm and playful love story.
The album was produced by two members of the band, Daniel García Diego (piano) and Shayan Fathi (percussion), who have managed to capture all the magic of their live performances.
