Slow Is The New Fast is back with their second album "Slower". An album where both the music and the ensemble has gone through a bit of change since the debut "Slow" in 2018. Håkon Aase on violin and Henriette Eilertsen on flute is the new contributing duo that takes the music to higher grounds.

The process of finding the two new members of Slow Is The New Fast took a long time and involved a lot of thinking and reflection; the choice of Håkon and Henriette was carefully considered. The essence of what the band presented on the debut album is still preserved and all music is still composed and arranged by Lyder Øvreås Røed. The music on "Slower" can be described as more "groove" and "beat oriented", while being more lyrical and loose at the same time.

Røed had a strong desire to incorporate ideas from the other projects that he is active in (cf. Fieh, Mozambique, Bangkok Lingo) into the acoustic more low-key landscape in which Slow Is The New Fast operates.
