Nijel Rawlins - The Love Project (2008)

On September 16, 2006, Nijel was sent to serve in Iraq in support of Iraqi Freedom. While there, God inspired him to write his third CD entitled “The Love Project”. Written, recorded and produced while deployed to Iraq, this CD includes all original songs. Titles such as- “No One Loves You More Than God”, He loves you" and “Most of All”, speaks about God's love for mankind and his personal expression of love for God. Simply put, this latest offering is simply awesome and truly anointed! Nijel has ministered all over the world at numerous churches, retreats, and military functions throughout the U.S. Most recently, he gave a free concert in Tennessee and has appeared on local television there. He was also featured in the March 2008 issue of the premier Christian magazine-Charisma. Amazingly, Nijel has participated in all of these exciting activities while still maintaining a full-time commitment to the U.S Army. Currently, Nijel, his wife Kimberly, and three sons, Nijel jr., Trevor and Timothy reside in Mcallen Texas. Nijel has recently released a brand new Christmas Album entitled "Christmas with Hymn".

Nijel Rawlins is on the cutting edge of today’s gospel music. Many have likened his ministry to that of David, a warrior with a horn! He has a tremendous passion to see the younger generation changed by God's love and mercy and believes that music is just one of the tools that God will use to bring about that change. Nijel has the unique ability to minister to people on his saxophone without speaking a word. Together with his entire family, he proclaims a positive message of faith, hope and love to this generation through music. To God be the glory!!
