Paula Atherton - Enjoy the Ride (2012)

Paula Atherton has gone and done it again. Done what? Made an album that appeals to just about every taste in music...that is, if you like great music. From jazz to funk, to soul, to Latin and R&B...but, forget all the labels. This album is all about great songwriting, incredible musicianship, perfect production, and a cast of characters as back up who could easily (and I'm guessing do) stand on their own. "Groove With Me," Paula's last release, has been on my 300+, full up, CD player for a few years. I'll be removing Atlantic Rhythm Section (cuz it's all about the ABC's) to make room for "Enjoy the Ride." Both...long overdue.
